Observation notes: This beautiful Spotted Apatelodes (Apatelodes torrefacta) has been on the wall under our porch light for the past 2 days. They haven't moved at all, even staying out all day in 95°f weather. I'm glad to see one back, as we didn't see a single one last summer, when we usually see at least a dozen individuals sporadically through middle-late summer.
