Observation notes: Calm night, 17C, humidity 78%. When this specimen landed on the door frame, my first thought was 'Modest Sphinx moth', but it was much smaller and the wings much more scalloped. Once it landed, it remained stationary unlike the Modest which barely gave me time to photograph it.
