Date notes: Morning after heavy rains found this specimen roosting on our deck umbrella. Took a few pics then let it crawl into my hand. Moved in to a shady location in a nearby tree to roost.

Observation notes: Gorgeous specimen. Healthy and not in distress. Our back yard intersects with the farmer’s property behind us. There is a small wooded area across some open fields. There is a much larger woodland two roads behind our home.
