Observation notes: We occasionally see this type of skipper flitting among the flowers in our home garden. Today, I had my camera handy and was able to snap this picture.
At the time (2:22 PM), the air temperature was 75°F, the dew point was 47°F, the humidity was 37%, there was a 9 mph breeze blowing from the SW, and the air pressure was 28.85 inches under fair skies.
