Observation notes: Dozens of individual sightings over a two hour period, either perched on Rhus, Baccharis sp. (Mulefat and Coyote Brush) , or aggressively fighting each other and other species in dramatic aerial battles. Quite a variety of wing pattern scaling. Several pictures supplied. Weather:low 80’s, calm to slightly breezy, clear.
