Observation notes: Lots of minor wing damage. Washed-out colouring, especially the wing undersides. The butterfly circled the property, struggling to navigate in the high wind. Circled back to the common milkweed and rested for 15 minutes. Then it resumed circling, seemingly trying to lay eggs; can't confirm whether any were laid successfully.
