Observation notes: Multiple individuals seen along the edge of the trail, perched a meter or so off the ground, occasionally flying in short loops to ward off perceived competitors. Preferred perches seem to include Mulefat or Coyote Brush. They return to this location every year about this time. Sharing space with Lorquin’s Admiral. Weather mid 70s, clear, slight breeze.
