Observation notes: We observed dudleya the host plant & it was nectaring on California Buckwheat. We observed 27 throughout the day here in Mal Paso Canyon (restricted area) near Point Lobos where we joined the locals for the Monterey County Butterfly Count. They called them Smith's Blue.
