Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct...looks like a newly emerged male...I think I mentioned that genetics indicates the populations of what was considered Coenonympha tullia in North America are mostly california...but will should be called the Common Ringlet or perhaps better to call them the "Ochre Ringlet." The California Ringlet is white, not ochre orange. Mike
