Observation notes: I saw this on the ground in front of a vehicle. It wasn't moving , but, when I brought the cellphone camera near it opened it's wings for a photograph. Sadly it looked inured, perhaps collided with a vehicle and fell to the ground off the grill after the vehicle stopped in the parking lot. It appears as though the rear part of the wings have been broken or cut partially away from the main body of the wings. I checked back about 30 minutes later and it was gone.
