Boisduval's Blue
Plebejus icarioides

Observation date: June 02, 2025

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I found these 2 mating individuals after following the single male. He appeared to try and interfere with the coupling: coming back to the pair a few times and trying to physically butt in. Unlike the individual I submitted here on May 31st, the single male does not have the extra spot toward the base of the ventral forewing. I'm unable to tell on the mating pair as that portion of their wings are covered.
