  Sighting 1401705

Observation date: May 19, 2025
Submitted by: EddieGarrity
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: In one picture the ventral surface of the right wing looks tan. I assume it is a reflection of the mulch color. The other two pictures show the ventral surface of the left wing as a light grey, as I would expect for an Azure. All the wings are quite worn.
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: Tough call with the angle and lighting, as this could actually be a number of Azures in their complex. Lighter, faint spots and lighter background would favor the now recognized spring brood of neglecta, however, the individual is pretty worn, so the markings could simply be faded. -jmgesell
