Coordinator notes: It has not been resolved which subspecies of Silvery Blues is on Santa Cruz Island to my knowledge. Definitely yes on Santa Rosa Island but Hawks & John Emmel (1998, chapter 22 in the Systematic Book)had not resolved that issue due to a lack of collected material. They did feel that likely the Santa Cruz Island population would turn out to be pseudoxerces. I also had to research for icarioides on the channel Islands. I wonder if those have yet turned up on the channel Islands. I have Langstans, Millers and the Hawk-Emmel publication in my personal library. Robert Langston and John Emmel were two of my mentors.-Ken Davenport
