Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Part of the mudsucking party in the marshy area of trail southeast of Doane Pond. It liked to hang around the dense foliage off the trail, and wasn’t easy to photograph, but I caught it in one frame of a video gliding across the trail which is fairly definitive. Weather partly cloudy, calm to gusty, low 80s. The Comma shared thin location with Sisters, Lorquin’s Admirals, Buckeyes, Crescents, and a lone Copper.
