Observation notes: Saw this white butterfly flying across a field at a good pace. I followed it until it landed, snuck up on it and was able to get these to photos. this is my 14th year "On the Hunt" for the Northwoods butterflies research project (97 species found) . First time to find this species at this site. Other 2 sites I know of are about 40 miles south, and 5 miles north west. making this an exciting find ! I did look for its' host plant "Rock Cress" and yes, was able to locate some about 200 yards from the butterfly.
