Observation notes: Initially nectaring on Yellow Buckwheat, then watching me. at the north end of the Tioga Lodge property near a small flowing creek. Also,150 yds from the west shore of Mono Lake. I saw at least one of these at most of the places I stopped, Sonora Pass, Monitor Pass, and near Lundy Creek, but never abundant. Steep sagebrush hillside with a few Pinyon. Pleasant 75 degrees and partly cloudy.
