Observation notes: Observed on a hiking trail in an upland forest. This butterfly was unable to fly and had difficulty moving. Aside from some minor damage to its wing, no other physical abnormalities were observed.

Coordinator notes: Was it a cool morning? Sometimes it takes a bit of time for the butterfly’s wings to warm up, and it can be quite sluggish until the temp reaches an adequate level. -jmgesell
