Observation notes: Top - looks just like an old twig with fungus. Belly - purple hue. Feisty when touched, back and forth body (mostly front half) movements. 36 degrees when found. Approximately 2-2 1/2 inches.

Coordinator notes: Nice find! They feed on various oaks. Not seen all that often. I'm guessing it was heading off to find a place to pupate.
