Observation notes: These caterpillars have eaten all but maybe 10 leaves off of a young catalpa tree planted 2 years ago. The tree was fairly full of leaves with 5-7 main branches. These caterpillars have 1 spike on their back on the tail end that is about 6-8mm long.
