Morning-glory Prominent
Schizura ipomoeae

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Same cat found two days later with the leaf eaten down to the stem.

Coordinator notes: Unicorn and Morning Glory are easily confused. If you notice your individual has a distinct hump, it has dark markings along that hump extending to the rear and the hairs are long. That separates it from other Unicorn. It's a very nice find! I have notice a large decline of Prominent larvae in general on my property and while out in the field in recent weeks in Sussex County.
