Observation notes: I believe it had just emerged from it's cocoon that is in the photos. When maturity is reached, they pupate between two leaves, in a white cocoon made of silk. 3000' elevation in the Olympic National Forest near Mount Ellinor area. I spotted it on a Willow tree branch.
