Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Ringlet was seen in the evening, fluttering around the front-yard lavender bush, apparently looking for a safe place to spend the night. Once it found a "sleeping spot", it stayed there all night, and was seen the next morning, still on the same stem; but later in the day, it was gone. Only this one Ringlet was in the yard. Temperature was about 80 degrees. Photo by K. Larson.
