Observation notes: This guy was working his way through an area of Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir trees. When I tried to slow him down a bit with a leaf, he'd twist up and wag his hind end and point what appears to be a stinger at me. This stinger has a blur stripe along it. Weather was in the 80s, maybe a bit hotter.
