Observation notes: The color seems odd for greenish blue, but the underside dots don't seem to have as much white as the Boisduval's does.

Coordinator notes: Boisduval's Blue is correct...in eastern Colorado, the subspecies lycea has larger black spots with a narrower white ring. This white ring varies a lot depending on location. In western Colorado, the black spot is smaller and the white ring thicker (subspecies pembina/ardea, depending on location) but the undersides of this blue are quite variable. The one you show here is a male. Sorry for taking so much time off from verifying sightings. I catch up over the next week or so. Mike
