Coordinator notes: Actually, this individual appears to fit P. cocyta (Northern Crescent) better than P. tharos (Pearl Crescent), although both species can be nearly impossible to fully differentiate. The wide open orange patches - particularly on the HWs - not traversed by black veins or bars, would favor P. cocyta over P. tharos. Your location is in the transition region where both species can be found, although historically P. tharos would be most common. -jmgesell
