Observation notes: This blue was noticeably larger than the other blues I saw on this hike/ in the area, and it seems Boisduval's is one of the few noticeably large ones.

Coordinator notes: Your ID and to sex is correct. Doesn't look like it is sitting on the host. Lupine is this blues only host plant across the entire western U.S. and so it should be named the Lupine Blue which is mistakenly applied to the orange-margined blue (P. lupini) that only feeds on buckwheat and hence should be commonly named the Buckwheat Blue!
