Observation notes: Observed this duskywing in the Texas Hill Country just west of Medina, TX. The butterfly was flying along a dry creek bed before alighting on this oak. The appearance of the individual is not congruent with a Horace's Duskywing and the timing is much too late in the year for a Juvenal's Duskywing in Texas. Glassberg has range for the Meridian Duskywing in the Texas Hill Country, but observations are sparse.
