Our 2023 fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. Your support is vital to the project. Please make a recurring or one-time donation to sustain this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: There were several Canyonland satyrs flying along the canyon wash today, and this one landed in the sun giving a great look at it's colors. I wasn't aware that this species flew this early in the year considering how late they stick around.
