Observation notes: Individual female ovipositing on branches of littleleaf ratany dwarf-shrub in habitat along the footslope of Tortugas Mountain. She was positioned on one shrub, would lay wings out flat exposing dorsal surface, lift the wing tips slightly, then slowly raise the wings upward. She then few ~2m to another shrub that was more confining to expose the egg-deposition process presented herein. At noon, the day was warm, with a light breeze, and under full sunlight.
