Observation notes: This individual selected a creosotebush shrub above/among range ratany dwarf-shrubs for perching/displaying. This perch selection occurs occasionally and may have been aided by moderate but gusting wind on this afternoon. The day was warm and sunny on this east-facing lowslope.
