Observation notes: The individual was very active and traveled to and from the many common milkweed plants (Asclepias syriaca) present at the site. The day was sunny and the temperature was approximately 29 degrees Celcius.

Coordinator notes: New article has been released confirming the suspected new species. Not a true hybrid, but shares mixed characteristics of both P. canadensis and P. glaucus, is in flight immediately after the P. canadensis flight ends. -Jeff Gesell
