One-Spotted Variant
Hypagyrtis unipunctata

Observation date: July 21, 2021
Submitted by: Scotiaspinner
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Either piniata or unipunctata, but I'm leaning towards the latter due to the orangey-brown tones in the subterminal area (per BugGuide). I had put it has piniata on my iNat record but am now second guessing myself! It looks like you have previously verified sightings of these species so hoping that they don't need dissection!
