Observation notes: Raised some larvae from our cassia this year, this ended up being one that was brought in with new plant material to feed larvae we had growing. This pupa was so small seemed like no way it could live, when it started changing color then I knew why. Less than half the size on the Cloudless we were raising. Lots of adults flew to the coast most we have ever had. Had these leaving eggs mostly on the leaves of cassia. Never noticed any larvae or fresh hatched adults from our yard. We have lots of Argentine ants that Kill all the mourning cloak butterfly larvae and they also kill and eat lots of the Cloudless Sulphur larvae and eggs. Cloudy and cold all day very humid.
