Coordinator notes: The subspecies at this locality is supposed to be arenacola described in 1998, but some consider arenacola a synonym of smithi. Information in the original description of arenacola and distributions of the two seem contradictory and relationships unknown. Since smithi is an endangered subspecies, we may not know the answers in the near future...Ken Davenport
