Observation notes: I had a danaus plexippus (monarch) on my chilopsis linearis (desert willow). There were several bumblebees on the tree as well. I saw a smaller white butterfly with a black dot on the tree as well but wasn’t able to identify it. It was collecting pollen from the flowers.
