Observation notes: Initially mistook for a hummingbird, was hovering over purple butterfly bush, behaving like a hummingbird. In fact, a true hummingbird seemed to try to chase it away, unsuccessfully, which is when I realized it was not a hummingbird! (I have no experience in this field lol)
