Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID of the Sleepy Orange is correct...looks like an almost newly emerged male. Maybe you or someone in your area has Senna planted...the host plant. No natural host for this butterfly grows in Colorado but Senna is cultivated by some gardeners. Another common name for this species is the "Rambling Orange" since their flight is anything but "sleepy"...usually fast and erratic. Mike
