Observation notes: The butterfly settled on a fern in a residential neighborhood and remain there while I took the picture. Temperature about 73°, slightly cloudy, located about 1/2 mile east of the lake Michigan shoreline and 1/6 mile south of the Manistee River Channel in Manistee Michigan. Humidity 51%, wind NE at 6 mph. The butterfly had no interest in a butterfly bush located 25 feet away.
