Observation notes: It was @ 97 degrees outside and this butterfly was feeding on various flowers on my deck. It always sat with its wings together and I was never able to get a photo with its wings opened up. It flew rather quickly from plant to plant and was quite orange looking in flight. It is quite small as you can see when compared to the marigold’s bud or blossom.
