Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Near a floodlight on my deck. I have been submitting to BG if I don't know or if I can add a data point (new moth for Wisconsin, new month). Do you submit other things to BG? Do you know how these data are being used?

Coordinator notes: Ideas about how many to post have changed through the years. Some people have posted images for practically every day of the month for the same species and there doesn't seem to be any problem although I'm not especially pleased with that concept. Comments found on the link may help to clarify (or not). https://bugguide.net/node/view/1911485 Note that BugGuide 2.0 has been in the works for quite a few years already. One day... By the way, I see that Moths of the Eastern United States is back up on FB. There's also another good site - Mothing and Moth-Watching.
