Observation notes: The flying blue butterfly was doing an aerial dance about the butterfly with its wings closed. The one that is landed did not seem interested but the flying one was not giving up. There were many of these blue butterflies around but most did not stay in one spot and I could not get any pictures until I found this pair. It was 80F. This park had a lot of blooming deerweed. There was some lupine and Parry's phacelia and bush sunflower.
