Observation notes: Pandapas Pond probably has the highest concentration of sleepy oranges in the county, outnumbering all other sulphurs combined 6:1 or higher. Larvae and adults are still active despite temperatures in the low 40s, high 30s at night. The clearing at the end of the Woods and Field Trail contains large amounts of Senna hebecarpa and Chamaecrista fasciculata.
