Observation notes: Butterfly was feeding on daisies in our Central Oregon yard. Warm, sunny afternoon. Only one individual.

Coordinator notes: This is a bad angle and there is no upperside view, so this is difficult. This look like subspecies sineocellata with the banded hindwing and kind of frosted appearance outwards, similar to 4 of these I took on Mt. Ashland June 10 and 11. In my opinion, that would make these more desirable and a better find than Cercyonis oetus.-Ken Davenport
