Observation notes: Moth was getting pawed at by a kitten, sitting in gravel. I picked it up to save it from the kitten but it didn't want to move, but also didn't avoid me. Once on my hand, it stayed there unmoving. To get it on to the plant there, it took a lot of convincing (quite a bit of nudging against its legs). Did not see it with it's wings open at any time. Weather was clear, High of 81F, low of 52F. Unsure of temp at time of sighting, but probably near 52F.
