Observation notes: This is a large moth, about 2.5" from head to end of wing. I found it sitting very still on the frame that holds my strawberry and blueberry plants. This is adjacent to my vegetable garden. Nearby there are phlox, blanket flowers, a grape vine, and a wide assortment of other, mostly native, plants.
