Observation notes: Raised from caterpillar (along with 6 others of the same species) on what I believe was crabapple (I’m not great at IDing plants). Pupated on 5/2, hatched as an adult today, 5/13. Caterpillar folded leaves and would eat from inside, never moving from its home until the leaf was throroughly shredded. Pupae of this species always made an ovoid shape in leaves as shown in one of the pictures.
