Observation notes: Hot day Low nineties, Wright's and desert metalmark, Desert swallowtail, Orange tips, Laneria Checkerspot, Painted lady, Checkered white several metal mark species, Pale swallowtail, Orange sulphur, sleepy orange cloudless, marine blue, Acmon lupine? Pygmy, other blues that use thorn trees! northern skipper common skipper grass skippers, common sootywing. Queen sister others! Also finally after many years of searching after seeing these on Lynn and Gene Monroe's Book the fuzzy little larva of Wright's Metalmark also seen here! We Found Nine or Ten of these larvae on the Host Sweet Bush. They look like the old dried flowers and are white like the stocks! Page 61 Butterflies & Their Favorite Flowering Plants.
