Observation notes: This Monarch stayed in the garden most of the day feeding especially on lantana. It did not particularly like having a Gulf Fritillary in the garden and seemed to be aggressive towards a beautiful Pipevine, chasing it at one point! Unusual behavior I believe. This male Monarch had mated in the garden the day before.
