Coordinator notes: Please always give a location, because with this species variation even within Tulare County, a geographic location is vital to evaluating this species group. This is a group highly studied by scientists right now with many unresolved issues. The idea these are Hesperia comma in the USA (other than Alaska) seems to have been disproven. I'm currently writing a scientific publication on the Sierra Nevada and wrote one already on Kern and Tulare Counties, available for free download at the Colorado State University website for free-Ken Davenport. I live in Bakersfield.
