Observation notes: Found on Elbowbush ( Forestiera pubescens) in the shade. Post Oaks, Hackberry and Osage Orange trees main ones. Found a couple more in the following days. It buried itself in the dirt but did not make a cocoon...dead.

Coordinator notes: Not many photos of this species' caterpillar around. Very nice! Consider submitting to bugguide and MPG, they have no photos of the caterpillar. Inaturalist also.
